Garden Check
Garden Check is gardening newsletter written specifically for Delaware and the surrounding areas. Published 10 times a year from March to November, Garden Check contains expert advice from Delaware Cooperative Extension specialists and agents for horticulture, plant pathology, entomology and the environment. Timely articles, including the monthly "Things to Do" column, inform readers about current practices, preventatives and products, as well as potential garden problems before they get out of hand. Subscription price is $17.50 annually.
Ornamentals Hotline
A group of agents and specialists contribute to a one-page weekly newsletter entitled "Ornamentals Hotline." It includes articles on insects, diseases, cultural information, and greenhouse IPM. The articles alert landscape maintenance professionals to what is currently active or required in the landscape. Short, bulleted items allow them to easily scan the information and pick out what they should do during the busy growing season. Approximately 200 landscape professionals receive the newsletter.
